Cantina Marramiero in China.
Presentation of our range of wines, an event held at the restaurant Otto e Mezzo owned by Umberto Bombana (2 Michelin stars) in Shanghai and, to conclude the evening, a fabulous dinner/tasting session to the delight of many guests. On the menu: Pecorino 2018, Trebbiano Altare 2016, Montepulciano Inferi 2015, and Montepulciano Riserva Dante 1998 and 2008. On this occasion, we also presented our new, elegant company brochure with information about our wines.

Pictures and memory. “A warm invitation for everyone, from Ashby to Castrovalva.”
We support values: culture, young talents, traditions and innovations, and our region, Abruzzo.
In Castrovalva (in the province of L’Aquila) near Anversa degli Abruzzi, a small yet interesting exhibition with previously unreleased photos of the area dating back to 1909. The exhibition, made possible thanks to Cantina Marramiero, showcases a series of original photos, including charcoal prints, as part of the 2019 Festival “PROSPETTIVE DISTORTE”, in an area much loved by the British archaeologist Thomas Ashby as it is a land of great silence.

The “Treno del Vino” is back, a journey along the Sulmona-Isernia railway, also known as the Italian Trans-Siberian Railway, to discover the Majella mountain, known as the “Madre”. Twenty-two Abruzzo wineries and their producers on board, enjoying the journey and telling the story of their products, with wine tastings at each stop.

The third edition of “Eccellenze d’Abruzzo” organised by our company in collaboration with Slow Food Abruzzo Molise, to showcase the main “culinary specialities” of our region.

Official opening of the new Cantina Marramiero. An exemplary use of cutting-edge technology that blends in with the surrounding environment, in keeping with the company’s philosophy: staying true to tradition while focusing on progress. The special guest of the evening was the prancing horse of Maranello, featuring the 2002 World Champion single-seater driven by Michael Schumacher and many other Ferrari sports cars.
